Throughout the year, the Ashley HomeStore team has the incredible opportunity of helping children in communities across North America through the Hope to Dream program. At every participating location, a portion of each mattress purchase is used toward giving a child in need their own bed. A great night’s sleep starts with a place for a child to lay their head at night. This will start a chain reaction to hopefully brighten their future.
For almost a decade, Ashley HomeStore has given deserving children across North America the gift of a good night’s sleep through our Hope to Dream program. December marked the initiative’s ninth anniversary, so we decided to host a party at Armature Works in Tampa, Florida.
At Ashley HomeStore, we value the positive impact made by giving back to the community. Through programs like Hope to Dream, we strive to become members of each community you find a store HomeStore in. Recently, members of the Ashley family chose to give back by delivering mattresses to local fire stations in Lansing and Flint, Michigan.
Hope to Dream strives to help deserving children across North America discover their dreams by providing them with the security of a better night’s sleep. Recently, with the help of amazing volunteers and event organizers, we took a trip to Atlanta to attend an event at the Georgia Aquarium. We followed along as 50 children and their families learned about marine life, dolphin training and conservation. We can’t wait to share our adventures with you!
Hope to Dream held a Back to School Bash in Roswell, Georgia on August 23rd and surprised 100 kids with something they didn’t have before – brand new beds of their own to sleep in. The children also received bags with school supplies like notebooks, markers and pens, so they were extra prepared for the school year.
On August 8th, 60 children were invited to the Ritz Theatre and Museum to tour the building’s history and enjoy a private screening of Disney’s “Finding Nemo.” The kids were also able to fill gift bags with back to school necessities like notebooks, calculators, and crayons. After, they were all surprised with new beds for their families to take home.
